Jen Xu Licensed Architect / Co-founder of BLUR
Jen is an architect based in San Francisco with over a decade of experience in high-end residential design. Educated at the University of California, Berkeley, she brings a calm and deeply considered approach to each project. Her work prioritizes beauty, emotion, and spatial clarity—designing homes that feel both protected and open, serene and grounded. Jen believes architecture should elevate the everyday: not through spectacle, but through spaces that quietly support how people live, move, and feel.
April Liu Licensed Landscape Architect / Co-founder of BLUR
April is a licensed landscape architect with over ten years of experience practicing in the Bay Area. She holds a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. Her design approach centers on thoughtful dialogue with each site, guided by a deep sensitivity to the poetic phenomena of nature. Her work reflects the rhythms of the natural world, translating them into spaces that are both aesthetically compelling and spiritually resonant.
